Summer Horseback Riding Camps

Located in Tyus, Georgia, in the foothills of Blackjack Mountain in Carroll County, Red Horse Stables hosts Summer Horseback Riding Camp.  Campers will enjoy riding both English and Western in our arena and on the miles and miles of trails. Lunch will be provided daily in our onsite campground kitchen or at the barn.  Each camp week will have one overnight “barn sleepover.”

Riding instruction is provided by experienced ARIA Certified Riding Instructors, along with a well trained staff.  Campers spend a full day learning to ride and properly care for an assigned horse as if it were their own.  Riders will build basic to advanced riding skills in our highly structured program, which provides excellent training for those just learning to ride, while reaching the finer points of equitation and horsemanship for the experienced rider.  Periodic evaluations are made so that each student has the opportunity to advance as their abilities increase.  We encourage campers to stay for more than one session, as progress will compound with each successful week.  Discounts apply for returning campers as well as current students and boarders. Ask us how you can earn a portion of your camp fees.

Campers will be divided by age groups and riding ability
Camp begins daily at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm.  Arrangements can be made for campers to remain later if necessary.  Lunch provided each day.  Water and juice available at all times.
